He graduated from Harvard Medical School and Harvard University with expertise in clinical operations and a concentration in the industry leadership track. A dentist by training, a subject matter expert in periodontology, focused on oral-systemic linkage, the fundamental driving subject of all his prior research. He has been researching the host's response to periodontal infection, which causes a complicated cascade of inflammatory-immune sequential processes, making periodontitis a well-established risk factor for many systemic disorders. His work in this sector has received worldwide recognition, with over 170+ peer-reviewed papers published in high-impact scientific journals. He has written five books and three book chapters.
His books include Science of Sea Salt, Dental Plaque: A Biofilm, Fundamentals in Clinical Trials and Research, Hospital Infection Control: Clinical Guidelines, and Dental Horizons: Essentials of Oral Health.
